We are a professional sauna builder rather than a general contractor who takes the occasional sauna job. That shows up in the parts of the build nobody sees: continuous foil vapor barrier, correctly placed intake and exhaust, heaters sized against the actual cubic volume and glass area of your room, and benches set to your ceiling height so the top bench sits in the hot layer where it belongs.

• Licensed, insured and permitted. California Class B general building license, insured and bonded, with every electrical and building permit pulled and inspected rather than skipped.
• One crew, one number. Design, permits, framing, electrical, carpentry and commissioning are all ours. Nothing gets handed off and nothing falls between trades.
• Flat-rate quotes. The number you approve after the design phase covers the heater, the wood, the wiring, the venting and the permits. No line items appear at the end.
• Every heat type. Traditional electric and wood-fired, infrared, hybrid and steam. We are not tied to one manufacturer or one system, so the recommendation follows your room.
• Materials that belong in a hot room. Clear cedar, hemlock, Nordic spruce, thermo-aspen and abachi. No chemically treated framing lumber anywhere the heat reaches.

Bring authentic sauna culture to Los Angeles homes at the highest quality, bar none. Los Angeles got the wellness part of sauna long before it got the craft part, and the city is full of expensive rooms that never reach temperature, benches at the wrong height and cedar going black behind a missing vapor barrier. Our goal is simple enough to state and hard enough to do well: build rooms that work the way a Finnish sauna is supposed to work, in a climate and a housing stock that were not designed with them in mind. We would rather talk a client out of an oversized heater than sell one, and we would rather delay a start date than close up a wall we are not happy with.

Why Choosing the Right Sauna Builder Matters

Almost everything that decides whether a sauna is good gets covered up before you ever see it. That is what makes this a difficult thing to buy well, and it is why the cheapest quote is so often the most expensive one.

• Unpermitted electrical. A 60-amp heater circuit run without a permit is a fire risk, an insurance problem and a disclosure item at resale. It is also the single most common corner cut on low bids.
• A missing or punctured vapor barrier. Skip it, or stop it short at the ceiling, and moisture moves into your framing. You find out two or three years later when the wood goes dark and soft, and by then the fix is a rebuild.
• Ventilation treated as optional. Without intake below the heater and exhaust on the far wall the air goes stale, the room smells within a year and the floor stays cold while the top bench cooks.
• A heater sized off a chart. Glass doors, uninsulated walls and high ceilings all add load. A heater picked on square footage alone gives you a room that never quite gets there.
• Bench height guessed at. Heat stratifies. Benches set without reference to the ceiling put your head in the cool layer, and no heater size fixes it afterwards.
• Treated lumber and sealed wood. Chemically treated framing and varnished interiors both off-gas at 190 degrees. Neither belongs anywhere near a hot room, and both turn up in DIY builds regularly.
